After multiple attempts to play Wheel of Fortune on MSN with Lynn and Peishan, the system doesn't seem like working. So, I think it's time for me to write my entry on my Sydney trip.

As soon as Ann returned from her short visit back home, the 3 of us took off to Sydney. Sydney, vibrant big city often mistaken by people to be the capital of Australia. I can understand why cos most of the celebrities, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour are all there. Their airport is so much nicer than Melbourne and with more shops. Sydney has a population about 4.8 million, much more than Melbourne. Our backpackers lodge is on King Cross Street, a well known red-light district with all those shops selling adult toys and stripper clubs. It's one of Sydney's tourist attraction, not really keen to take a look inside anyway. Like the last trip, we went to explore town on our 1st day. Instead of tram, they have trains like the MRT we have in Singapore. The train station is just across the street from our backpackers, we made our way to Darling's Harbour and booked our seafood buffet cruise at the information counter for the 2nd day. Next, we visited the Sydney aquarium where you will find your coral reef fishes such as clown fish and blue tang (characters of "Finding Nemo"?) The seafood buffet cruise was really good, it was about 1.5 hours curise round the Sydney Harbour area while you enjoy those heavenly seafood. Haha!! Yummy. We went to check out the Sydney Opera House, it doesn't look that fantastic up close. The tiles are turning yellow and they looked like swimming pool tiles. Guess I should have admired it from afar. 3rd day, we went on a 1 day tour to the Blue Mountain. On our way, our tour guide stopped outside the stadium which the Sydney Olympics 2000 was held.
4th day, found krispy creme donuts. According to Ann and Joanne, they only have outlets in Sydney. I wonder why they didn't have outlets in Melbourne. They have lots of flavours to choose from, so we decided to try all the flavours they have. Haha!! They are sinful but they absolutely tasty! Yum Yum. We did some shopping in town, Sydney has more urban life compared to Melbourne. ![]() 5th day, we were supposed to go for the whale watching trip but due to bad weather it was cancelled. The curise company didn't allow us to get a refund so we had to pay another 11 bucks to go for the seafood buffet again. Yesh, they served the same food. Sigh~ What a waste! 6th day, our last day in sydney. So, we went to check out Sydney's famous beach, Bondi Beach. There wasn't alot of surfers cos it was winter! But still caught 1 guy jogging on the beach, hee hee! During summer, the beach is really crowded with bikini babes and hunky beach boys. Such a pity, we came during winter. Still truly enjoyed my trip in Sydney! :)
